Unlike traditional rolling shutter sensors, the KOMODO‑X uses a global shutter. As a result, it captures fast-moving subjects without distortion. Additionally, it offers 16+ stops of dynamic range, preserving detail in both shadows and highlights. This makes it ideal for action, VFX, and dramatic lighting.

Canon RF Mount for Lens Flexibility

The camera features a native Canon RF mount, which supports modern RF lenses. Moreover, you can adapt EF lenses using RED-approved adapters. This gives you more creative freedom without needing to invest in new glass.

Efficient Formats and Frame Rates

You can record in REDCODE RAW for maximum flexibility in post-production. Alternatively, use Apple ProRes 422 or 4444 for quicker workflows. The camera supports 6K at up to 80 fps, and 2K up to 240 fps, giving you smooth slow-motion or high-speed capture when needed.
