With its lightweight design and advanced tools, the Shinobi 7 RX fits smoothly into any modern workflow.

Display & Visibility

The screen measures 7 inches and reaches up to 2200 nits of brightness, making it viewable even under direct sunlight. It supports HDR monitoring for Log, HLG, and PQ signals and displays over 10 stops of dynamic range. Whether you’re indoors or outside, your footage will appear crisp and true to life.

Connections & Compatibility

This monitor features HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs. HDMI supports up to 4K at 60 frames per second, while SDI handles 1080p60 signals. You can cross-convert between the two formats and loop video output to other devices. These options make it compatible with a wide range of cameras and workflows.

Wireless & Camera Control

Built-in Wi-Fi 6E allows the Shinobi 7 RX to receive low-latency video from a TX unit or from an RTSP stream. Latency stays under 60 milliseconds, which helps maintain timing during live work. USB-C camera control is also supported for select models from Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Panasonic. On supported cameras, you can even touch the screen to focus.

Power & Build Quality

Power options include dual NP-F battery slots, USB-C PD input, or an optional DC power adapter. Despite its bright screen and active cooling system, the unit remains compact and lightweight. It features anti-rotation mounts on top and bottom, making it easy to attach to cages or rigs. The durable body handles rough environments without issue.

Monitoring Tools & Workflow

The Shinobi 7 RX includes advanced tools like EL Zone, false color, waveform, histogram, focus peaking, zebra, vectorscope, and safe area guides. It also supports 3D LUTs and downstream LUT output.
