RETURN, REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY — Downey Camera

We want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase. Our policy differs depending on whether the order was placed using Klarna or another payment method.

1. STANDARD POLICY (NON-KLARNA CUSTOMERS)

🚫 No Returns Accepted

We do NOT accept returns for any non-Klarna purchases.

🔄 7-Day Exchange Policy

Customers paying with credit card, PayPal, or any payment method except Klarna are eligible for:

  • Exchange only (no refunds)
  • Must be completed within 7 days of delivery
  • Item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition received
  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all exchanges
  • Customer is responsible for shipping both ways unless the product arrived defective or incorrect

❌ No refunds, no store credit, no exceptions for non-Klarna purchases

2. KLARNA-SPECIFIC RETURN POLICY

Orders placed using Klarna receive a separate legally required return process.

Klarna Customers May:

  • Return the item for a full refund within 14 days of delivery
  • Item must be unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging
  • Return postage is FREE
  • No restocking fees apply
  • No exchanges or store credit — refunds only
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days after we receive and inspect the item
  • Klarna will update your payment plan once the refund is issued

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following cannot be returned or exchanged except under Klarna’s sealed/unused rule:

  • Opened electronics
  • Software, digital goods
  • Items damaged by the customer
  • Items showing signs of activation, wear, or use
  • Clearance or final-sale items

4. WARRANTY SUPPORT

Manufacturer warranties may apply depending on brand (Apple, Canon, Sony, etc.). Warranty claims should be handled directly with the manufacturer unless otherwise stated.
